Like most ambitious people, I used to think that knowing everything that a successful person was physically doing would give me the answer to their success.

When I want something, I am motivated to do the work.
.
I will work and work and work.
.
I believe in quantity and persistence.
.
And I went all in, when it came to building the prosperous life I wanted.
.
And I got so far…
.
BUT NO FURTHER.
.
Somehow, I hit a ceiling.
.
First, in pharmacy – I could only earn so much.
.
It took bankruptcy, depression and my 3 awesome princesses to finally shake me loose of the path I was on, which was not my true design path at all.
.
And then I took a sideways step to property/real estate investment because it seemed practical like pharmacy but also had the added advantage of allowing me to work around my princesses and home-educate them.
.
However, again, I hit a ceiling.
.
I could not get past it.
.
NO matter what I did, no matter how hard I worked and as I said, I was motivated to do it all.
.
I kept looking for more secret tips and strategies that the high-earners were doing.
.
And I kept ignoring the other OBVIOUS answer because I thought that that was for the weak.
.
Those that did not want to do the work.
.
Those who were looking for magic buttons.
.
And I was proud of how much physical work I could get done – I still am, if I am honest.
.
And finally, I had to pay attention to that other answer – THE MINDSET answer because nothing else was working.
.
I responded to the intuitive nudge within me telling me to take a life coach up on his offer to come hang out for a day and handle any forgiveness and rejection issues I might have.
.
Ah yes, I did not mention to you that while working my butt off in business and in my previous career as a pharmacist, I had been pushing down all the inner tension I had been feeling around family, religion, fear, self-doubt, anger and so on.
.
I did not think those things were relevant to making money or even to overall life happiness, which is incredibly silly on my part but having come from a third world country where people really did experience horrid poverty, I just thought that most of this soft mindset stuff was for privileged people in developed countries who did not have enough to do, except to worry about ‘feelings’!
.
How silly I was!!!!
.
Little did I know the freedom that would result from this 8 hour cryfest with this coach.
.
I have gone on to work with this person and many more to support me in leaving behind the past and rising victorious as I now live to my true design.
.
And why did I change my tune?
.
Because within 90 days of the ‘cryfest’, my business income had doubled and I was able to leave pharmacy for good.
.
And I know I had done nothing different.
.
Except, handle the war within me.
.
Oh honey, I cannot say this to you enough.
.
You think the work is external and yes, there is certainly external work to be done but the real reason you will break free from any limitation you are experiencing in life, is because you win the war within you.
.
I know you are not shy of hard work and if you are, please leave now.
.
So, I know it is not the work that is your issue.
.
The issue, my love, is that you are not facing the inner turmoil that you think has NOTHING to do with the results you are achieving in life.
.
I understand why you might think that because I too, was so deluded.
.
And like most, you keep trying to find the trick to someone else’s success by looking at their actions and trying to duplicate that but you do not realise that the person is BEING something very different from you.
.
They have a powerful mindset to achieve the results whereas you don’t because you are caught up in petty sillinesses in life but you do not realise the impact those sillinesses are having on your results and you keep thinking people are holding something back from you.
.
But they are not.
.
You are unwilling to look within you and so, you go without.
.
Year upon year upon year, nothing much changes and if you are not careful, you will go the way of the regular world and just give up on trying to achieve your goals.
.

The Divine holds nothing back from you or I.

The choice to prosper is ours to make.

I have made the choice by doing both the inner and the outer work.
