I was listening to Will Smith yesterday because someone shared it in my Free group – (come join in) and one of the things that struck me was when he said something along the lines of
“I decide that something is going to happen and then I just wait for all of you to catch up”
And I loved that statement…
Because I see so many people second guess and second guess themselves. Today, they are going to do something, and then they lose confidence…
They think this is the way to do it…
Then they over think the method and end up not doing anything.
I used to be this way as well.
One day, I wanted to get 5 more clients and then I would doubt myself and not get them and instead get distracted with navel-gazing or doing something else. And it would carry on like that for days and sometimes, weeks at a time.
There was always a new shiny way to promote my business and I would jump between this thing and that thing, instead of just making a solid decision and make sure that everything I did – EVERYTHING I DID lined up with that internal decision.
And that is what you have to do to get everything out of life and business that you want.
You have to solidly decide to get it, with no distractions, no room for self doubt, no pity parties, no nothing.
Every moment of every day, be thinking , how can I make this happen?
What is the next thing I can do to make it a reality?
You keep obsessing and obsessing about it – You go to sleep with it on your mind. Make notes of any thoughts that come up and you take action on everything solidly.
You do not keep stop-starting, waiting for some revelation from the heavens – NO, YOU DECIDE and you do not stop until it is real.
Simple.
