I remember the day, my first princess arrived
It was 11.22am
It had been 20 hours of excruciating pain
They try to tell you
But you always think you will be different somehow…
I was not.
I was in a heckuva lot of pain
And being very noisy about it
So noisy in fact that they had to tell my husband to come and quiet me down as I was disturbing the ward.
That did not work, of course, but it was nice to have him there.
That experience taught me to give birth at home for the other 2 – It was considerably more relaxed and easy
2.75 hours for the other 2 princesses, in the comfort of my own awesome home. Woohoo!

Anyway, back to the point, though I think the title does say it all but you know I got these words which must be expressed!
I had this baby
I was now a mother
Whether I liked it or not
Whether I knew what I was doing or not
Whether I was scared or not
No one needed to tell me that I was now a mother
No one needed to validate me
The baby suckling at my boob told me all I needed to know.
I HAD TO STEP THINGS UP if she was to grow up into a loved-up princess.
I CHOSE TO DO THAT
I DECIDED.
Same goes with your dream, your vision, your idea
It is a baby, just like a physical baby
You do not need validation
You just need to STEP THINGS UP!
You need to DECIDE that you will love that idea, that vision, that dream until it is fully grown and doing exactly what you desire it to do.
For goodness’ sake, your idea is even more pliable than a baby
IT IS COMPLETELY YOURS to do what you will, with it.
YOUR WHOLE LIFE is completely yours to do what you will with it.
You do not have to contend with a whole other human will
IT IS JUST YOUR WILL!
What will you deliberately decide to design into your life?
YOU DO NOT NEED TO BE VALIDATED
That vision inside of you, is your permission
It is ALL THE PERMISSION AND VALIDATION you need
Go on, go into the silence for a minute…
And write down your whole dream
See it without all the fear and doubt
Feel the wonder of what you can create now
And silently promise yourself to DO IT!
To create the relationships you desire
To create the work that makes you feel amazing
To create the healthy body that feels so energized, sexy, vital
To create the bank balance that supports the life you desire
To create the spiritual connection with Source that powers everything
Go on, promise yourself
And then VALIDATE YOURSELF
And get on with it
