This last week has been one of the toughest weeks in recent history for me. Between having surgery, being scared that my body would never heal, having my husband away, looking after my princesses and more, it has felt pretty damn tough.
Thank God for support.
Thank God for the work.
Focusing on the work that I am called to do, focusing on the vision that must be rolled out, REGARDLESS OF HOW I FEEL, saves me.
It always does.
When I am passionately going after my vision, then everything else, every feeling, every pain becomes smaller in the face of my determination.

Life gets simpler when you focus on the vision…
On the purpose that you have committed your life too…
And then the work saves you!
Saves you from being wimpy and just doing what you feel like doing…
SAves you from getting swallowed up in self-pity…
It simply saves you – THe work always works!
The problem for most is that they are running from the work.
Scared of the demand on them…
Thinking that it is in the wallowing and navel-gazing and affirming and all of that passive stuff that somehow, things will happen for them.
NOthing good ever comes that way!
NOTHING!
The work is what will save you!
Choosing to show up every day and do what you said you would do to further your vision is what will save you.
THE WORK ALWAYS WORKS!
I know the gurus sometimes try to tell us that we are human BEings and that, in some way, that should mean we are more about the BEing than the DOing and yet, a lot of people are choosing to BE victims.
Victims of their circumstances and I do agree, some circumstances are DIRE! absolutely DIRE! and so I can understand how those circumstances can cause you to feel hopeless and unable to move forward but the truth is, THE WORK WILL STILL SAVE YOU!
Because the work always works.
If you can simply find it within yourself not to be so swayed by the emotions of the situations that you face and instead you choose to rise above and see the big vision and ACT towards it, despite the darkness around you!
Then you will win!
YOU WILL WIN!
Over and over again, you will win.
You will be the creator, the deliberate designer of your life experience.
Of course, it is not easy.
It feel easier to have a sad story to tell.
To look for sympathy and pity, rather than to gather your strength about you and become a winner.
But then you make yourself feel worse and worse as you continue to convince yourself that there is no way out and all that pity and sympathy also tries to make you feel better in a ‘hopeless’ situation.
But is that really what you want?
To be an object of pity?
OF course it is not!
We are champions and we know it deep inside even though at times, the drama of the present moment can cause us to forget. WE WANT TO WIN!
And so, therefore we realise that the work will save us.
Doing the work even when we don’t feel like it…
Doing the work because then we WILL feel like it…
Doing the work to push past any resistance…
Doing the work makes us proud of who we are…
Doing the work creates the impact and the income that we desire..
The work is the answer!
