Stop withdrawing from life and calling it “spiritual.”
Stop pretending the physical world is somehow inferior — something to escape from, endure, or tolerate until you’re finally allowed to leave it.
And please stop imagining the Divine as some cosmic hall monitor, checking how little you enjoy yourself and awarding points for deprivation.
There is no deity judging you for liking nice things.
There is no spiritual leaderboard for suffering quietly.
And feeling guilty for loving material things?
That’s not enlightenment — that’s conditioning.
Let me say this slowly:
You are here in physical reality
in order to enjoy being here in physical reality.
This is not a mistake.
You are not being tested.
You are not meant to white-knuckle your way through life waiting for the “real” one to start.
So yes — enjoy Netflix.
Read the fiction books you love.
Make the money you want to make.
Buy the car or cars.
Build the business.
Wear the clothes, shoes, jewellery that delight you.
Travel.
Experience new cultures.
Lie on the beach.
Go on luxury spiritual retreats and meditate in comfort.
Or go to the nightclub and dance until the music rattles your bones.
(And that sex club you’ve been side-eyeing? Dare to go 😀)
Enjoy the food.
Enjoy the pleasure.
Enjoy the experience of being alive.

Unapologetically.
And no — I’m not telling you to hurt yourself or lose all discernment.
You’re far too thoughtful for that anyway.
I’m saying:
Stop withdrawing from life and pretending it’s holiness.
Because you are here on planet Earth
to enjoy being here on planet Earth.
Withdrawing from life in the name of “divine pursuits” doesn’t make you more spiritual.
It just means you missed the point.
Wake up and live!
