Ok, I will tell you now that I am as practical as they come, when it comes to my vision, my purpose, my calling. I want to know the ‘why should I do that? Why does that work?’ and the ‘how will I get there? How will I know what to do?’ and all that great logical, reasonable stuff. I want to be able to explain everything away. I want to read and read and study and study so that I understand everything…
I want to be able to explain logically how miracles happen…
I want everything to make logical sense…
I want to KNOW and UNDERSTAND everything…
And despite all that, I choose to live by intuition.
And I have found so far that intuition is a faster way to get what I want.
I could be reading until I reach 100 years old and there would still be more ‘WHY’ and ‘HOW’ to understand and if my ability to take action and create the life I feel called to live, is dependent on understanding everything then I have no chance.
And so, I choose to walk by faith
And I think you should too…
You have a dream, a vision that has been planted inside of you since birth and you feel called to live that life…
And on the other hand, you want to know all the hows and whys and logical mechanics of it all…
Cool enough except you just do not have that much time.
There are certain things you just know.
There is a feeling, a vibe, a sense within you that you need to do this thing or that thing…
Those are intuitive nudges…
That is Spirit directing you…
That is divine guidance…
I suggest you act on that whilst gathering all the information.
But prioritize ACTION, not just gathering information.
We are spiritual mavericks but we are practical, hands-on ones…
We cannot sit around trying to understand everything before we move or else, nothing happens…
We also cannot sit around trying to pray our way to understanding before we move or else, nothing happens…
Again, this is a FAITH WALK…
If you want more than you have already got, then you are going to have to do things differently…
Like me, you went the normal path of the world, I guess…
Got the education and the associated pieces of paper that told the world that you are now sufficiently qualified to be let loose in the marketplace…
And you were happy for a second until you realised that you were not living the life you felt called to live…
And in fact, all this education had stifled your ability to live in trust…
And now, you felt a bit trapped by all your responsibilities and so it seemed safe to figure out all the ‘why’ and the ‘how’ before you got started following the call on your heart to live a more purpose-driven existence…
You thought it was sensible but really, it is just fear based.
The pieces of paper were achieved because you wanted to be accepted and you were scared that you would not be able to take care of your self without them and so you got used to ignoring your intuition and allowed yourself to be told what to do and how. (Unless you truly followed your heart from the get go, of course)
And now, you are unfulfilled and you KNOW you are born for more than this but you are still caught up in that old way of doing things – trying to figure it all out before moving your butt…
And well, it does not work that way.
It is a faith walk.
You see it when you believe it
Not the other way around…
Sorry but that is just the way it is.
So, are you willing to create the life you long to live, even though you do not understand every little strategy out there?
Or do you want to stay put in one that is ok but not what you want?
Are you willing to trust Spirit even more than you currently do and follow those nudges within?
Or are you going to allow fear to determine how your life plays out and then you can say you learnt to be content and make it sound all spiritual when really, you just got scared?
It is your choice.
Your life is up to you to create it, however you want it.
So what do you want?
