When Your Awakening Turns Into a Trap

You are loved, you know?

Deeply. Completely. Unconditionally loved.

And supported.

You are also one with the Divine — powerful, limitless, infused with the same creative force that brought the physical reality into being.
That power is available to you at all times.

And nothing — nothing but YOU — can disconnect you from it.

Hear this clearly:
Admitting that you want love and support does NOT make you weak.
It doesn’t make you powerless.
It doesn’t diminish your authority.

Support is available the moment you ask.

But you don’t ask.

You think you should “already know.”
You think asking makes you look weak or less spiritual.
You think you’re supposed to handle everything on your own because you understand so much.

Maybe you’ve seen people lean on spirituality in a needy, helpless way —
and you vowed never to be like them.

But in trying so hard not to be “weak,”
you’ve gone to the opposite extreme…

And now you’re making life harder on yourself than it ever needed to be.

Let me explain something…

There is Stage 1 — The Blissfully Unaware

These are the ones who think their spirituality means they do not have to do anything themselves…

They internally feel like a victim of life, of the Divine, of everything!

If life is going well, then they are blessed

If life is not going so well, they are being punished

These are the people you do NOT want to be like.

There is Stage 2 — The Painfully Awakened.

This is where you are.

You’re awake enough to know you create your reality…
but you don’t yet embody it deeply enough to make creation predictable —
and that gap is EXCRUCIATINGLY PAINFUL.

You “know” the principles, the teachings, the laws.
You can explain them better than half the people teaching them.
And yet your own life refuses to cooperate.

You clear.
You heal.
You journal.
You affirm.
You do all the things…
and STILL, your results don’t match what you KNOW is possible.

Stage 1 people settle.
You can’t.
And that’s why Stage 2 hurts more.

Because you remember the initial breakthrough —
that flash of magic that convinced you your whole life was about to change
—and now you can’t recreate it.

You keep digging up every wound, every trauma, every old emotion,
hoping this is the layer that finally unlocks it all…

But what you’re actually doing is holding yourself apart from the very thing you’re trying to create.

Stage 2 is the place where:

You know too much to go back
but not enough to move forward.

You’ve dropped people, habits, patterns…
You’re trying so hard to be “high vibrational,” “aligned,” “pure,” “right” —
and the harder you try, the heavier everything feels.

And worst of all?
You feel like you’re not allowed to ask for help
because you “should” know better by now.

So you start to spiral.
Running fast.
Moving nowhere.

And it’s here — in this lonely, painful loop —
that most people break:

Some run back to religion, convinced they’ve offended the Divine.
Some blame karma or fate and surrender to hopelessness.
Some quit entirely and decide “life just doesn’t work for people like me.”

Stage 2 can become a spiritual graveyard if you stay too long.

There is another option, of course – STAGE 3: The Practical Mystic

You realise you are powerful creator and also, not meant to do life alone.

You ask the Divine for assistance without all the subservience and victimhood of a stage 1 person and you no longer think it is weak to need help like a stage 2 person does

That help may come directly to you from the Divine (if you are able to receive it) or it may be in the form of a book, a person or something in the physical reality that you feel guided towards.

You relax and you allow

You feel safe and loved

You give up the need to be perfect

And you get the assistance you need

There is a HUGE difference between a stage 1 person and a stage 3 person though sometimes their external actions may seem the same…

This, of course, is irrelevant if you choose to remain firmly in Stage 2 — determined to figure it all out alone, determined to be the lone ranger who slaps on a smile and pretends everything is fine while you’re dying inside, determined to punish yourself into a better life as you lose more confidence each day when things refuse to work the way you’ve read and learned they should.

Honey, wake up and stop trapping yourself in this painful stage.

At this point, it might honestly be easier for you to drop back into Stage 1 — yes, back to the very religion/spirituality you’ve judged as weak. Because sometimes the sheer act of letting go, collapsing and handing it all over creates the deep energetic release that finally allows your breakthrough through. And then you become one of those people giving testimonies about how “when I finally surrendered and returned to the faith—EVERYTHING changed! Oh PRAISE the LORD!”

I’m teasing… and I’m also dead serious.

Because even though Stage 1 isn’t actually what healed you — the release is — I would much rather you get relief that way than keep torturing yourself in Stage 2, trying, trying, TRYING to force a life that cannot be created from that level of internal tension… all while refusing to ask the Divine for help because you think you shouldn’t need it.

So if you truly cannot bring yourself to trust enough to rise into Stage 3, then let go of this big dream of yours for now, and at least give yourself the grace of a peaceful, ordinary life. There is no prize for suffering.

However… if the idea of shrinking back into a normal life feels wrong,
or if you can finally hear that gentle whisper inside — the Divine nudge you’ve been ignoring — pointing you in this direction… then follow it.
That whisper is your guidance. And it’s time to respond.
