So, I was the pharmacist.

I looked the part of success.

I felt unfulfilled.

I knew I was capable of more.

But I thought I had to be reasonable.

It was alright for me to trust the Divine with every other area of my life but I had to hold the reins tightly when it came to money.
.
I had to be reasonable and just do what most adults do – Work all the hours at a job that they do not really like and find a way to do the things they do want to do in their ‘spare time’.
.
Except ‘real’ life will continue to get busier and busier, more and more stressy until you find that you do not have any spare time.
.
you are constantly putting out fires – yours or someone else’s.
.
Always following someone else’s agenda.
.
Always doing what you think you have to do to maintain the status quo.
.
Always telling yourself that you have no choice.
.
Always forgetting that you are LITERALLY the ONLY ONE with ALL THE CHOICES in your own life.
.
And wondering why the Divine does not provide you with a route of escape.
.
Then routinely ignoring every single route offered because it does not look like what you thought it would and so you fall back on the ‘I have to be logical and reasonable and make sure my basic needs are met before I do anything like that’
.
And so years pass you by and you begin to give up on anything ever really changing.
.
You may still talk a good game, but really, you don’t expect anything to change.
.
This is the adult life, you tell yourself as your life gets smaller and smaller.
.
This is just what I have to do, you tell yourself while performing your religious/spiritual rituals that make NO DIFFERENCE to your actual everyday life.
.
Oh honey.

When will you wake up?
.
When will you truly have a burning desire to live to the fullness of your potential?

How much longer will you keep deceiving yourself that life will somehow just create room for you without YOU DEMANDING THAT IT DOES by no longer settling for any old nonsense?
