You know what?!
I am fed up!
Sick and tired and fed up of being anything less than who I am.
Fed up of kowtowing the line and pretending to be a follower!
A leader does not hide…
A leader does not try to please all the weird people in her life!
A leader leads and that is it…
And it is not even a ‘try to’ type thing – It just is what a leader does. They cannot seem to help themselves. They get into whatever situation it is and they are the ones that people pay attention to, they are the ones who do not look for someone to blame…
They are the ones who just step up and get anyone who will come, to the next level…
And they do not give a hoot about whether it pleases the little people in their world or not.
They say what needs to be said…
They face the scary questions and they do not hide behind the rules…
The leader makes their own rules…
And though people around them moan and groan about it and think they should just stay in their place and call them selfish and all that nonsense – They make more stuff happen in a day than the moaners and groaners do in 6 weeks, 6 months, a year!
And yet, we listen to THEM?! The peeps who do not understand what drives us?
Really?!
How crazy does one have to be to listen to people who are doing nothing tell you how to do nothing with your own life?
I mean, seriously?!
How long before you step up and own the person that you really are?
You stay with partners that makes you feel less than yourself because you think it is the done thing and the right thing to do (according to who?!)…
You stay in a job that makes you want to tear your eyes out with boredom because hey, you trained for a long time and you need the money and it is the responsible thing to do…
You go to a church or other religious organization that tells you how to think, act and feel instead of taking the time to figure your own stuff out because you might go to hell…
You are a leader!
A LEADER!
And I don’t even care what you are selling, you just need to step up and lead and offer something awesome to the world.
And do it powerfully!
It is time to do an uncovering and understand you will be doing this for the rest of your life.
It is time to uncover the person that you are… AGAIN!
It is time to remember the person that you are… AGAIN!
You are created in the image of GOD!
You know that, right?
You are powerful beyond comprehension!
You have the same power living inside of you that conquered death!
Again, YOU DO KNOW THAT, RIGHT?
So, why, oh why, do you persist in living like you have no choice?
You have choice and then some…
And yet, you do not choose.
You allow circumstances to tell you what is good and bad for you instead of just getting on and deciding for yourself. What are you scared of?
Going to hell?!
Just get that out of your head and get to work on the uncovering, the remembering, the allowing…
Stop fighting it, stop making yourself small so that others feel comfortable…
Everyone will not like you… So what?!
You have a job to do and you just need to get on and do it!
Like Jesus – Tell yourself ‘I am about my Father’s Business’
It has nothing to do with your followers.
Stop caring who comes!
You just gotta do what you gotta do and then who knows who needs your particular brand of crazy and needs to hear you speak truth!
I am fed up of this thing I do and I see so many other people doing as well.
It is like we forget who we are.
We start to let the people in our life tell us what we have to do…
We start looking to Facebook likes to tell us how to act and what to say…
Are they responding well? Should I put up that quote picture? Is my engagement increasing or decreasing?
Blah, blah, blah!
I am done with that!
The thing we keep forgetting is that the answers are and have always been within us.
We know what we need to do and yet, for whatever reason, we DO NOT DO IT!
We dither, we doubt, we wonder why the money does not come and so we start to do all kinds of crazy things to get the money…
Things that makes us cringe but hey, some guru person told us to do it so it must be accurate, right?
Or worse… we stop all together, we give up, we think the free, leadership lifestyle is not for us.
And yet, honey…
You KNOW you have a mission to make a difference in the world…
I KNOW I am called to make a difference in the world…
And frankly, I am going to make a fortune while I am at it!
And time is tick-tick-tocking away.
We have to step up…
We have to BEcome…
We have to remember who we are…
And we have to get into action.
