All of this stuff is powerful…
I am stirred when I speak with you…
But ARE YOU SHOWING UP DAILY?
I read that one post you wrote last year or maybe, even yesterday but it is sitting there on your website or Fasebook page and no one goes to your website/Facebook page and so though it spoke to my heart, stirred me up and made me want to throw money at you…
You did not tell me where to throw the money…
AND NO ONE ELSE KNOWS ABOUT YOU…
Honey, ARE YOU SHOWING UP DAILY?
I know you believe in what you have to offer…
I know you want to help more people…
I know there is a passion stirring within you…
I would go so far as to say you are horny for success…
But ARE YOU SHOWING UP DAILY?
Because if your audience is not growing daily then nothing will change…
If you are not coming to where your people are, and boldly telling them who you are…
Then nothing will change…
If you are giving in to the fear more than you are giving into the love of your people…
Then nothing will change…
If you come out all guns blazing for a few days and then get silenced by the silence around you…
Then nothing will change.
Business itself is predictable…
There are certain things you need to do to grow your business…
Communicate
Capture
Close
The problem for you, is that you do not think you are a business…
Not really…
You tell yourself this is some kind of ministry thing…
Or that you are a writer…
Or that you are an artist…
Or a musician…
Or that you just want to help people…
All true and yet, without a business mind, it will just be you talking into the wind…
I was speaking to someone on the page recently who chose to write a comment on one of my adverts where I say quite categorically that business can be predictable…
But this is someone who has not found it to be so…
And so he chose to tell me on an advert…

Anyone can say anything at any time!
This is one of your fears, right?
You are scared that people may not like what you are doing and tell you blatantly and so you do not show up daily – Yep, it may happen but so what?! Does someone’s belief affect yours so much that you will stop doing what you know can help people?!
If yes, then you need to bolster your belief, my honey!)
Anyway, that is a bit of an aside but still relevant.
Anyway, this awesome person leaves a comment hinting that business is not predictable…
I then go on to ask a series of questions and I check out his stuff…
And I can see immediately where there may be flaws in his approach to business…
A very spiritual person with great ideas of how to help people…
But also an assumption that because it is helpful, people will simply buy…
You make that assumption too, don’t you?
You want people just to run to you and throw money at you because you dared to put up a Facebook page and put a few pieces of content on it…
I hoped that too…
In fact, I am almost sure that I put a heckuva lot more content up than you did in my early days…
At least 12 FB posts a day, every day that first year or so…
Blogs written erratically as I kept losing heart and getting distracted by the many things I could do…
And yep, people were encouraged and inspired but no one was buying anything…
Now, I look back at that page and I can see that I was too scared to tell them what to buy…
I was not taking my responsibility to serve them seriously enough…
I was allowing my fear to win and not asking for the sale…
It took me a while to do videos as well…
Because people may not like me…
And so, no one got the choice to like or hate me…
And no one was served for the long-term because I was all up in my head…
Anyway, back to this awesome dude…
He tells me his page…
I take a look…
And there is hardly anything from him on it…
And there is a very clear message that he is not selling anything, as in, the page ACTUALLY SAYS THAT!
And so, his business is predictably not working!
I gave him a few pointers and it got me thinking of this post…
Can I simply say that to continually serve people, a steady stream of income needs to be coming in to reinvest and continue to do the work you long to do.
It does not matter whether it is a product, service, ministry, music, art, books…
Whether you think you are just a creative or not, if you do not want to be a starving artist that is unable to reach anyone with your message then you need a steady stream of income.
And that steady stream will be created when you communicate, capture, close, CONSISTENTLY and CONFIDENTLY!
As I say, business is very predictable but sometimes, you need an external pair of eyes to tell you what you are too close to see!
So honey, ARE YOU SHOWING UP DAILY?
