There is no way to ignore Facebook in the building of any business and it is definitely useful in the growth of your network marketing business. By the looks of recent developments, Facebook is looking to take over the world from Google and YouTube and EVERYWHERE so getting used to this platform that is doing all it can to cater to the whole world, is key to growing your business.
Everyday, new people come onto Facebook so never feel that you will run out of potential prospects. Get good at using Facebook and keep within their boundaries and you could find that your business grows and grows and grows.
Here are a few ideas for you to do this.
1. Use Graph Search on Facebook
Search for people who are interested in what you are interested in because the chances are that they will be more inclined to enjoy working with you on your team, you will have more in common and if you are in the business, then the chances are that with the right amount fo followup and relationship building, it will be something that they become interested in.
Put search phrases like
“People who are not my friends who like entrepreneurship and spirituality”
“People who are not my friends who like network marketing”
“People who are not my friends who like Eric Worre – Network Marketing Pro”
And if you do not have graph search because you are in the UK or something, go into your settings and change your language to English (US) and suddenly you have it!
2. Start making connections who may join your network marketing business
As you find people who may be interested in your business opportunity, send them messages asking if it is okay for you to connect with them as you are interested in the same things etc. Or you can just connect with them but be careful about how many requests you send out on Facebook as you may get banned from doing it if you keep sending multiple connection requests without getting affirmative responses. Where possible, word your message asking them to send you a friend request. A lot of distributors are not strategic about making new connections and so they run out of people to speak to, this never has to be your story as long as you keep in mind that the idea is to support people in making their own dreams come true.
Please always remember the purpose of your business – To serve!
3. Make all this a habit!
As I already said, you have to be strategic about building your business. Do not expect it all to fall in your lap. Facebook and all the other social media platforms make it really easy to connect with a vast array of people and as long as you are putting things on your profile that others are interested in, then you will find it easy to build relationships with a large number of people. BE social deliberately and even as I type this, I am aware that there is more work for me to do as well. I too need to get pretty darned more deliberate about networking with people on my social media platforms because the truth is a lot fo my business comes from doing this.
Stop moaning about having no one to speak to, there are people just on the end of your smartphone.
