Why is it so important to you to be powerless?
I know you don’t think of it that way. I know you do not realise that you keep doing this to yourself. You just know that you have not always gotten what you wanted and so you have created a theology around it that keeps you down.
I did that too.
I could not reconcile my experience of life with what I felt born to live and so I had to make a religion of my suffering! And anyone that disagreed with me was obviously going straight to hell and had to be corrected and put back on the right path because, of course, they were deluded.
Instead of me, taking courage with both hands and asking the hard questions, I remained powerless against a God and a world that seemed determined to put me down.
And being that powerless, ‘pleading with God to have my best life’ person was too weak to do what it took to face down opposition and determine to get what I wanted out of life.
It was easier to pretend to be selfless…
It was easier to pretend to be humble…
It was easier to be poor and broke because then I would not have to do the hard things.
And I see so many spiritual types recreating this fallacy!
And being all judgemental about it as well!
They are not happy so no one should be happy, either!
What nonsense and yet, what a loss because powerless people do remain broke instead of claiming all the wealth they can, so they can change the world…
Powerless people do remain whiney, instead of facing up to the fact that ‘if anything is to be, it is up to me’…
Powerless people never get what they want and blame and blame others instead of doing the very thing they are expecting some rich, powerful person to do for them…
And powerless people do not change lives, impact the world or do anything worth remembering.
And that is fine if that is what you want…
But if you feel passion burning within you for things to change, you have to accept that you are created a whole lot more powerful than that and as some dude in the Spiderman series says
“With great power, comes great responsibility!”
You can no longer pretend to be weak and that life is just happening to you!
You can no longer settle for a semblance of success when knowing deep inside that you are not, at all, fulfilling the calling on your life.
You can no longer continue to believe lies about whether it is moral to get rich or not…
You can no longer passively go through life, looking holier than thou but making no waves as you wait for someone else to do the work you are born to do.
Aaaargh! I do get pretty tired of listening to the whiney, moany ‘norms’ who complain about the world, the rich people, the economy and then do absolutely nothing to be their own best self, who do not see that the very thing that annoys them the most is exactly what they are created to sort out.
I get pretty tired of listening to people begging and pleading with God to make their life work when they themselves have all the power if they would just face their fears and choose to claim the life they want…
It is time to stop waiting for a saviour and take on the role of saviour.
You have been imbued with all power, all wisdom, EVERYTHING YOU NEED to win at this life so please, as Eminem says “Will the real ________ (put your name in the blank) please stand up?!”
Yes, I understand that you have been surrounded by ‘norms’ since birth and so you need to deliberately put yourself in a place where you are surrounded by people who are ready and willing to step up and lead, where you are surrounded by mentors, coaches who are dead set on seeing you live out the very best of yourself because as you do that, the world is served.
Please remember.

- You are capable of your calling.
- You are much more powerful than you realise.
- Yes you can get everything you want.
- You are loved. You are enough. You are worthy. You deserve the very best of everything.
