People will take what you give
So, if you have been giving, giving and over-giving and then getting nothing in return, you cannot be all angry or resentful about it.
You obviously need new boundaries.
Now, you may not yet have acknowledged how resentful and angry you feel about it because you are such a nice, lovely, giving person but your body is telling you – you are tired all the time, stressed out, maybe recovering from breast cancer or some other ‘lady parts’ cancer (if you are female), suffering from some autoimmune condition that no one can figure out or cure or…
Maybe you are just plain old snappy towards your closest loved ones while slapping on a smile for all the other people that need you or maybe you just feel like you have been on auto-pilot for a very long time and you keep wondering when your real life will begin.
WAKE UP!
Again, people will take what you give.
They will not read your mind
They are not committed to returning the favour, just because you think they should.
And if you keep acting like you have everything under control and don’t need no help then people will believe you and you will feel alone even though you are surrounded by many, MANY people.
So, you cannot then get all angry and resentful and fed up and frustrated.
You also cannot cloak your feelings in spiritual-speak instead of facing the fact that you have no boundaries, you hate saying no to anyone because you DESPERATELY want them to like you
You are a people-pleaser, my love, and oh so very co-dependent.
You cannot blame the Divine either – He is not forcing you to give yourself up for everyone around you – YOU ARE CHOOSING TO DO IT!
You are choosing to put yourself last
You are choosing not to live your own life
You are choosing to make everyone else a priority in your life
You are choosing to BETRAY yourself.
And no, the Divine did not demand this of you.
No, this is not some practice run for your glorious time in the next life when all sorrow will disappear.
You are literally causing your own hell on earth and telling yourself that you have to.
WAKE UP!
You are meant for so much more
You are meant to be free, fulfilled, financially abundant and love-drenched – This is your true design life
But you do need to claim it.
WAKE UP!
time is tick-tick-tocking away from you
Wake up and LIVE your own life.
Guess what?! Everyone will somehow find a way to keep moving forward, with or without your help so please stop betraying yourself and start paying yourself some attention.
