You know it does not matter what your title is, right?
You know you do not have to fit into the boxes of any world-ordained definition of your occupation, right?
You are you…
And you have a vision of the things you would like to do and create and put into the world…
And yet, you keep holding back thinking that it needs to be easily defined and if it is not, then it must not have all that much value and so then you hold back thikning you need to wait for further clarity.
Honey, just stop.
Do it first for you.
Do it because you want to have your creation out in the world…
Forget about fitting within the very limiting lines that others would have you fit…
forget about that.
Just figure out what you want and do that.
You might start up a whole new category so who the heck cares what anyone thinks, right now…
They have not see what you are coming up with yet…
They have not seen what you can do yet…
Because you keep waiting for permission to come and tell you that it is now okay to be you.
OK, here it is – IT IS NOW OKAY TO BE YOU!
TO PUT YOUR WORK INTO THE WORLD even though it defies definition and fits nothing that has ever been done before.
Honey, there is always a first time so why can that first time not be you?
Don’t you see that we are living in a world that is changing faster than it ever has before?
Things that used to be normal are now archaic and silly…
There is room for you!
IF YOU WILL SIMPLY CREATE whatever you want to create…
Stop waiting, doubting, second-guessing…
Stop trying to make yourself fit in…
Just be your glorious weird, wonderful self and put your work in the world and invite people to pay you for it.
But do not be swayed by whether they do or they do not yet…
Simply keep showing up
Do not let a lack of initial response mean anything AT ALL…
just keep creating and keep putting out there…
Continually linking it to what your people think they want…
And keep inviting them to partake in your creation.
Go on, dare to live outside the lines…
And listen to those intuitive nudges withi you that tell you what to do next…
Dare to staop wallowing in self-pity when things do not work immediately…
Dare to trust that what you have is awesome and people need to see it…
Whether products, service, books, music, art…
Whatever it is, go on, put it out there and keep inviting people to come…
Give up pride…
You have nothing to prove
This is your one life – Allow yourself to enjoy it by refusing to be limitied by other people’s definitions of what is possible for you and what can work.
BE YOUR MOST CREATIVE SELF And invite, invite, invite others to partake in your joy.
