As an awesome client said to me this morning, “This journey takes courage”…
And yes, it does.
It takes courage to remove yourself from your normal life and put yourself on the narrow path to an extraordinary life.
And here are a few other things you need to win as a spiritual maverick who refuses to say die.
1) WE HAVE A SPIRITUAL PRACTICE THAT WE DO EVERYDAY!
You cannot very well claim to be spiritual, if you do not connect to your higher power/intuition daily in some way. As spiritual people, we know we cannot do this journey alone and so we do not even try. We tap into our Source and seek guidance. It does not matter what your particular beliefs are, if you are a spiritual maverick who intends to make money whilst living out the calling on your life, you will practice your spirituality and you will seek guidance & training from spiritual people you trust, if ever you find yourself unable to tap in yourself.
2) WE KEEP THE VISION IN FRONT OF OUR EYES DAILY
Write out those goals daily because we know that if we do not do it then we may get drawn into believing that what we see is all we can have. We stir up our enthusiasm for the vision and we visualise the end result. We refuse to stay put in a less than life and so we do whatever we cannot to be taken in by our present circumstances.
3) WE SAY ‘HELL NO’ TO CRAZY FAMILY TRADITIONS
We may have been born into a specific family but that does not mean that we have to forever align ourselves with their value system. We define our own values and we refuse to give in to traditions and cultures that do not allow us the freedom to express who we are. We refuse to live to anyone else’s agenda unless it is something that we completely agree with.
We boldly walk away from any tradition that hinders us
4) WE SAY ‘HELL NO’ TO CRAZY RELIGIOUS BELIEFS
For too long, we went along with whatever our religious leader said. For too long, we lived in fear of Source because we thought he was waiting on hand to punish us if we stepped off the mark set by the leaders in front of us. We recognise that we were passive in believing whatever and now we take back full responsibility for choosing deliberately the religious dogma that we feel we can align with. Everything else is dropped, though it is scary to do. We take everything to Source for confirmation and refuse to take anything at face value.
5) WE CHOOSE TO BE FREE SEXUALLY
We no longer stifle any part of ourselves. We choose to own our sexuality with boldness. We know that creativity, charisma, confidence emanate from this area and we refuse to be controlled by external forces any longer. We are free to choose what we do with our own bodies. And we choose to handle any hang-ups we may have in this area.
6) WE DREAM BIG & BELIEVE WE CAN LIVE FREE
We give up realistic thinking. No one realistic did anything extraordinary. We do have big ideas of what we are here to do and we are determined to make it happen. We give up fear about whether we can or cannot do it, whether we are worthy or not worthy, we trust that the vision is our permission and we go full pelt after everything now.
7) WE ARE CALLED TO SPECIFIC PEOPLE AND WE CHOOSE TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE TO THEM
At times, it feels big and strange and way too much for us to do. We may have wondered whether anyone actually cares about what we have to say and so for a season, we stayed silent but we are done with that now.
We deliberately choose to design a life that enables us to impact in a positive way the people we fell called to serve. We know that not everyone is our person and so we are not deterred by people who do not hear what we say. We are focused on finding our people. The ones who want what we have and we know they exist for Spirit would not have placed a vision within without the means to make it happen.
8) OUR PAST STORY IS NOT WASTED
We know that everything that happened to us, happened for a reason and we choose to let nothing go to waste. We do the work of figuring out how to use our story for the betterment of mankind and we begin. WE do the internal work of forgiving and releasing anyone that hurt us because we see the bigger picture – We were always born for more and sometimes that means we had to go through some stuff to be refined. it was not a waste. Our story becomes something that propels us forward.
9) WE DO THE WORK
We do not just talk about it. We do the daily work of connecting to Spirit, getting clarity on our goals, communicating who we are in the marketplace, capturing people into our world and making offers, confidently and consistently
We know that the more people we serve, the more money we make and the more money we make, the more people we can serve and so, we are committed to our people, to doing whatever it takes to REACH THEM, not just for the money though it is freeing, we do it because we are committed to their betterment in our lifetime.
10) WE REMOVE THE LINES BETWEEN LIFE & BUSINESS
We stop trying to find that ever elusive work-life balance because we are who we are AND what we do – We do not separate it in the way that lots try to. We just let it all blend together and create one amazing, purpose-driven life where EVERYTHING we do is what we are born to do.
11) SELF-LOVE
We stop second-guessing ourselves.
We stop wondering if we are worthy
We stop wondering if we can do it
We stop giving into self-doubt
We just choose to love who we are and focus on the calling.
Though we have felt out of place for a long time, we now daily choose to love who we are, not who we think people would like us to be or even who we think we SHOULD be, we accept and love who we are.
These are ideas that have taken me out of being an employee to more than replacing my professional pharmacist income to deliberately designing a life of purpose and wealth and I invite you to the narrow path if this resonates with you.
I do completely believe that it is only as we spiritual people accept and live out the calling on our life that we will make the difference we are here to make and create wealth as we go. Each person is a piece of a jigsaw puzzle and as you surrender to who you are created to be and you DELIBERATELY do that work, then the planet is completed.
