I felt bleak when I finally got started building my business.

.

Bankruptcy.

.

Depression.

.

And all the other crazy things that haunted my past.

.

It had taken its toll.

.

I just knew that I had to do something different, because I wanted something different.

.

I was not full of hope.

.

I wan not feeling my most joyful.

.

My youthful optimism had washed away.

.

But still, I wanted something different.

.

The idea of being a fulltime pharmacist FOREVER and putting my children in daycare just seemed worse than trying to build a successful business and failing.

.
And so I began, regardless of my feelings, regardless of whether I thought I could do it, regardless of the crazy negative voice in my head that said good things happened to everyone but me.

.

I know the Divine had me in hand, even then.

.

And slowly but surely, I broke free of my overwhelming negativity.

.

It was not easy to do but I had a BIG WHY and so I, little by little, changed my mind while taking action.

.

The thing I see now, with hindsight, is that the actual building of a business is a simple straightforward affair.

.

You decide what you want to offer, be it your own stuff or someone else’s.

.

You decide who you want to service – Get as clear an idea in your mind as you can.

.

You start to communicate with those people, be it online or offline.

.

You build an audience of those people with your words and presence, be it advertising, free organic reach, networking, whatever. I personally adore a mailing list so you build one.

.

You make your offer repeatedly to those who have made it clear that they like what you are about enough to come onto your mailing list of social media group or page.

.

Some people will buy, some won’t.

.

That really is the practicality of building a business.

.

And yet, EACH step of that has the potential to be derailed by your thinking.

.

We make things so much more complicated than they need to be by what is going on in our minds.

.

I was certainly no different and even now, though I am well-versed at picking up my own craziness, I can be caught off guard so I keep my coach in place to call me out on my nonsense.

.

The other crazy thing is that even as you read the simplicity of making your transition out of your unfulfilling job/business, the fog in your mind will convince you not to pay attention because it is not that simple.

.

And most people then go looking for more and more complex ways to do things when they have not given enough time to the simple things yet but because they spend so much time thinking about doing things, their mind convinces them that they have tried everything.

.

Let me be the one to call you out, my love.

.

I know that stuff has happened and it can feel dire being a grown up.

.

I also know that, like me, the chances are that you just keep plodding along in a life that does not satisfy you and no one in your world would even know that you feel the way yuo do because you have a great facade.

.

But can you be honest with me, for a second?

.

Do you want more?

.

If so, I promise you that the biggest obstacle you face is your own mind.

.

And if you can overcome that, just enough to take simple steps every day to transition away from this version of your life experience, you will one day look at your life and wonder how you could ever have felt so low because EVERYTHING will have changed for the better.

.

One way that I can support you in changing your mind is THE ABUNDANCE LIBRARY.

.

Oh I wish I had had all that wisdom years ago, when I got going.

.

But through many ups and downs, I have put together a collection of programs that will support you in elevating your mindset.

.

And as you do that, opportunities to win will become more apparent to you and the simplicity of putting them together will also become clear.

.

Immerse yourself for 90 days.

.

Go on, give it a try, my love.
