I say “What if”
But truthfully, I know your life is a reflection of everything you believe to be true about life.
And that is a hard statement to take if life is not exactly the way you want it to be.
And yet, it is also an empowering statement because then you suddenly realise that you have a lot of the power to change things.
I talk a lot about you being born to live free, fulfilled, abundant and I completely believe that for you and for me and for everyone on the planet but I also know that for a lot of people this is not their reality.
Their reality is one of bondage, dissatisfaction and lack…
Even if their bank balance seems to suggest they should be abundant, they feel lack…
They are so scared of what is happening in the world, they are doing everything they can do to shore up resources and to be safe except the more they get, the more unsafe they feel and the more they have to do to keep things going… which would be fine…
EXCEPT they are doing things that they do not really want to do…
Work that does not align with their purpose and they do it because they want to be safe…
I was a pharmacist and would probably have remained one if not for the bottoming out of my life…
I was a pharmacist because it was safe.
I knew I was called to something more…
I could hear Papa within telling me, calling me, speaking to me…
But I ignored it, like most spiritual people do, because I believed that it was impossible to make a living doing the work you felt called to do. You had to be reasonable, logical and just do what makes you money – that was what I believed and so my life represented that except I also had a deep down DESIRE to live out the calling on my life…
So, in the end, I sabotaged by making very poor choices…
And I reached bottom.
I went through that cycle a few times because that belief was hard to shake…
Until I simply surrendered to the calling…
The crazy thing is that in all other areas of my life, I had powerful beliefs around what I could expect…
I expected to have a loving relationship with a husband of my own choice – That came easily
I expected to live better than I grew up – that happened too
I expected to be close to the Divine – That became my reality
I expect my body to be healthy – that is the case
It is easy to see where my beliefs have created a good life…
It is not so easy to accept that my beliefs have also created any part of my life that I do not like…
Thankfully, I am at the stage in my journey now where mostly, I surrender to the intuitive guidance of Papa and so when something unhelpful bubbles up in me, I do not just disregard it as a random thought, I actually do the work to clear it.
And I would invite you to take the same attitude.
Sometimes, we spiritual people can get into thinking that connection with Source is a complicated thing and that the thoughts and nudges that bubble up are too easy to be the Divine trying to get your attention as well as the fact that your mind is so disempowered by fear that you have His voice vying for attention with the million fear thoughts you are indulging.
I love you, honey but it is time to take back responsibility for what is happening in your mind…
It is time to discern the voice of the Divine within and act on that while limiting the voice of fear…
How can you limit the voice of fear? Check what you spend your time listening, reading, consuming…
Some stuff will stifle the voice of love
Some will stifle the voice of fear.
Needless to say, you want to stifle the voice of fear because YOUR BELIEFS, whether assimilated consciously or subconsciously, are designing your life…
