There is an area in your life where the same drama just keeps on playing out…
It may have a different face each time it happens but with hindsight, you start to see that it is the same thing over and over and over again.
This morning, I was reading from the Bible about two kings
One Seemed big and strong…
The other seemed less than.
The big strong one (lets call him King Ben) decided to overthrow King Ahab and sent over threatening messages which seemed to make King Ahab quake in his boots.
This area of your life seems big, seems strong and you begin to forget that you are more powerful than it, that you are the boss of your own life!
Maybe, it is that relationship you have that leaves you emotionally or physically bruised but you have forgotten who you are and so you continue to allow it to bully you and like King Ahab, you quake in your boots when faced with it.
Or maybe it is the boss at that job
Or maybe it is the job itself – you know you want to leave but it seems too scary to consider such a move and so you stay…
King Ben asks for everything and then some…
King Ahab gets to the end of himself and finally says ‘NO’
And so a fight ensues and at this point, King Ahab is feeling all-powerful, he has heard from the neighborhood prophet that he can win this and so he charges in and wins!
WAHEY!
But he does not kill off the enemy completely.
And so, given some time, King Ben comes back for more…
And so it is with you…
You have these triumphs but at the last-minute, you pull back from killing this thing off completely, you are too scared to end it and so you have it as a bit of a comfort blanket and then it comes back for more…
And so the cycle continues…
And again, you remember who you are and that you are in fact, THE designer of your life experience and you again, go into battle…
And just at the last-minute, you pull back from annihilating this thing completely…
You tell yourself that you do not want to burn bridges…
You tell yourself that you may need it in the future…
You tell yourself you do not want to be alone…
And so on…
And the situation rears its ugly head again and again.
In the Bible story, ‘God’ tells King Ahab that he will die as a result of keeping King Ben alive…
And unfortunately, the same happens for you…
Not physical death, of course ( Unless the situation you keep allowing is something that could lead to that)
This is more of a spiritual death…
For one, in the process of trying to keep this alive, you will have to silence the voice of intuition within because you always know the best option for you though you may choose not to take it…
From a physical standpoint, all your energy is being used up trying to keep this situation in your life down.
And your time is tick-tocking away as you focus on the situation instead of focusing on creating the vision for the life you want.
So, honey…
What is that situation in your life that needs to be completed?
What is that thing that you need to KILL THE HECK OFF?
Where do you need to burn bridges completely?
It is your life at stake here.
Do you not want to live in peace and fulfilment, freedom and abundance?
The choice, as always, is yours…
You are always loved whatever you choose
The sad thing is that you will not know and experience that love while you continually keep this situation alive.
You may want to be saved from it and to that end, you keep begging and pleading with the heavens for relief but this is something you must know – YOUR HIGHER POWER KNOWS HOW POWERFUL YOU ARE and relates to you as such.
Yes we co-create the good life but you have to make the solid decision internally to no longer allow a crazy situation like whatever it is for you, to overcome you and you must take ACTION to open your heart to love.
You have to put yourself in a situation where you are immersed in a new way of thinking, being acting in order to remember who you are and fight this situation off of you.
Take a moment now and tell me, what is the situation you are facing that simply needs to die?
Do not pretend you do not know what it is.
You do know.
Are you ready to win this battle?
It is surely time!
