Sometimes, life is just plain old tough but I do not find it useful to focus on that.
And my refusal to focus on the pain can sometimes mean that I come across as living in the clouds and maybe, you read what I write and think that the good stuff (Abundance, freedom, fulfilment, love) only applies to people other than you…
People with no pain…
People who always have everything working out for them…
People with lots of money in their account, a great amazing skill, someone who loves them and all the time in the world…
Just so we are clear, THERE IS NO SUCH PERSON!
But you tell yourself that such a person exists…
And you wish to be that person but you look around you and all you see is trial and tribulation and so you count yourself out.
I get why you may think that.
And yet, EVERYONE, from the poorest person to the richest person, goes through pain.
EVERYONE has disappointments…
And for the most part, everyone you look up to in some way as having it together more than you do, started where you are and made a decision not to be defined by the trials and tribulations they were surrounded by.
They made a decision to live with their heads in the clouds because honey, seriously, HOW THE HECK ELSE will you create a different experience of life?
If all the time, you are looking at the disease in your body…
the lack of finance in your bank account…
The arguments that seem to be happening more frequently with your partner or your children…
Or the loneliness you feel because you do not have a partner…
Or maybe, your pain of choice is watching the news and seeing all the sadness in the world and feeling hopeless because you think you are too small to make a change and then you lash out in anger at your nearest and dearest because you simply need to vent…
And then you feel terrible that you did that but you do not connect the dots to see where it all came from…
(A bit of an aside there but the fingers went where the fingers went!)
Yes, as I was saying…
If all your focus is on the sad painful parts of life then guess what?!
There is no chance to create anything new.
EVERYONE goes through pain and some spend all their time focused on it, telling themselves that they cannot change anything…
Others, like me, live in the ‘clouds’ and choose to bring those ‘clouds’ to life.
And it is simply a choice.
Everyday, I make a choice to look at my vision and keep doing whatever I can, to bring it to life…
I am literally committed to dying on this path to my promised land…
And I have been blessed to see some success but I know there is yet more for me…
PROJECT 334k causes me to wake up and keep moving forward…
I slow down when I take my eyes off the vision and start looking around me to see the trials that exist in my life…
For the most part, I pretend they do not exist because I spent more than half my life, trying to attend to issues…
Trying to fix all of them so that I could create the time and space to do more of what I wanted to do…
The trials and tribulations got bigger.
They did not get fixed.
Everything will expand to fit the time you give it.
EVERYTHING!
The good or the bad.
And for the most part, most people on the planet give way too much attention and time to the bad stuff and wonder why it keeps getting worse.
Honey, as deliberate people, we have to find the confidence and courage to live beyond the trials and tribulations…
Stop believing that you are somehow the only one with troubles…
Stop believing that no one understands where you are coming from…
Stop believing that you cannot do anything different to create the life you desire until you have somehow fixed all your current troubles…
IT IS A LIE
And that lie keeps you stuck forever in a life you do not love, that makes no difference and is simply a reaction to everything happening to you and in the world.
SO IF YOU WANT A DIFFERENT LIFE?
You gotta start now to create it deliberately!
You are born for greatness
But you gotta claim it
And you claim it by living beyond your current crazy circumstances.
Yes, there will be trials, pain, tribulations, difficulties…
But if you keep making them the reason why you cannot live the life you feel called to design then you get to die with your music still in you.
No one is better off than you
For the most part, no one starts with everything working out for them…
THEY JUST START!
They decide they are done with living beneath their full potential and regardless of what is happening around them, regardless of how prepared they feel…
THEY START!
And you can do that, honey.
There is always a way to start.
