How Fulfilment Is Actually Created

A fulfilled life is created with a series of fulfilled moments.

Moment after moment, adding up…
until your whole life feels fulfilled.

Except you rarely let yourself have those moments.

You’re convinced there’s somewhere else you’re meant to be.
That you’re getting something wrong.
That you shouldn’t relax yet.

So you deny yourself fulfilment now
because you think you’re “not there yet.”

You even feel guilty for moments of pleasure or peace —
convinced that enjoying yourself will make you lazy, complacent,
and unable to do what it takes to get “there.”

That attitude guarantees one thing:
you never actually feel fulfilled — not now, not later.

Because fulfilment is not a future destination.
It’s not the day everything is perfect and you finally give yourself permission to exhale.

You can feel fulfilled in this moment.
And in the next one.
And in the one after that.

A fulfilled life is nothing more than a long string of fulfilled moments.

Yes — even while you’re creating a goal.
Especially while you’re creating a goal.

Which is why forcing yourself to do things you don’t want to do,
in the hope that one day you’ll finally only do what you want to do,
does not work.

Because again, a fulfilled life is created with a series of fulfilled moments.
