Can I let you into a secret?
It is not self-hatred to no longer want your life as it is…
In fact, it is self-love that helps you see that you no longer want your life to play out the way it has been playing out to date…
It is self-awareness that makes you choose to go after whatever you want…
It is self-confidence that enables you to see that actually, you now no longer need to settle for less than every single thing you want…
And it is SPIRITUAL to want to experience an expanded version of life!
Regular people would have you believe that the deliberate design of a life that you adore could possibly mean that you are greedy, discontent and unable to love yourself…
They would even call you unspiritual for wanting change…
But that is just the norm way of thinking…
The average way of settling for much less than they can get and telling themselves that that is the way it has to be.
Regular people are nouns – stuck in place…
Mavericks like you and I, are verbs – active, changing, creating…
Do you understand what I mean?
Let me give you an example…
I wanted bigger boobs…
I had wanted them forever…
My body decided to stop at a certain boob size and so I assumed that the best thing to do would be to accept that and live with it – That is the way of being a noun – STUCK with whatever life throws at you!
And I could have lived with my body so it was not a self-hatred thing…
I could have settled for it and did for a long while…
But I wanted more and plastic surgeons share their special gift with the world – the ability to create the body you want…
But I kept thinking it would be somehow wrong for me to get the change…
It would mean I was vain and unspiritual and that I did not love myself…
That is the regular way and I was going along with it for a season…
And then I had children and my stomach became huger than I wanted it to be…
Yep, I accept it was probably something to do with me not doing the work of strengthening my stomach muscles 🙂
But did that mean I had to live with my mistake forever?
Well, most regular people would say yes…
You made your bed, now lay down in it! or so the judgmental narrative would go…
But hey, I believe in second chances, in the ability to change one’s life, in the necessity to always expand in your consciousness and as you do that, there will come with it a desire to take care of one’s self…
And so I did.
I booked myself in, had the surgical procedure, crafted a more enhanced version of my body because I wanted to!
And no, it was not an easy option by any stretch of the imagination! One day, I will share the full story but for now, suffice it to say that like with any expansion, it came with its wrong turns and times when I wondered if I was crazy to even consider creating a more desired body…
And I see you wondering if you are crazy to think you can get your ‘Because I want to’ life…
And you wonder if you are being greedy to go after all that you want…
You think it makes you a malcontent but it does not…
It simply means you are created in the image of the Divine and you want the full experience, not the settled-for version and that is your birthright, honey!
Don’t let regular thinking tell you otherwise…
Don’t let regular thinking keep you in place in a life you don’t adore…
Yes, there will be ups and downs on the journey to your new life and it will at times, feel like you are stupid for thinking you can change things…
But if you will get over the crazy negative voice in your head and put your hand to the plough and refuse to stop until you get there – YOU WILL GET THERE!
It is that simple!
You are free to choose whatever you want from your life…
And you are free to go after it fully so stop being stuck in place…
And get to work creating it!
Let the regulars stay in their settled-for existence – YOU DO NOT HAVE TO JOIN THEM!
It is not a set-in-stone deal…
You can change anything you want…
As long as you are willing to change it…
Don’t make it mean you are good or bad…
It just means you want different – THAT IS IT!
