Fearfully Wonderfully Made – A song

By March 31, 2013November 14th, 2014Mum in business Sings, Self Development

Hello everyone,  Time for something new on the blog today.  Now I mentioned in my new year’s resolutions post that I would be doing a few different things this year.  One of which was singing!  Ok, so it took a few months but I finally got it together and though it is definitely an amateur video, I still hope you can find some pleasure in it.  I have included the lyrics below the video.

Enjoy! and see you after the video.  I would love to hear your feedback.  This is very new to me as you will see so any constructive feedback will be gratefully received.

Who am I?
Who made me?
Am I just dirt?
Is that all?
What of my thoughts?
Emotions, Dreams?
Do I just die?
Is that all?

I don’t believe it
I know that You made me
More than just dirt
No one like me

Fearfully wonderfully made

Think about it
A big bang
No purpose no reason
Just a bang
Think about it
A big bang
Some mutation
And here we are

Can you believe it?
Cant you feel the purpose in you
Can you believe it?
Don’t you know there’s more

Fearfully wonderfully made

Before time began
I was on your mind
You put me together
Before time began
I was on your mind
You Knew my name

(c) 2005 Rosemary Knight

I hope it inspires you.  I wrote this song a little while ago while I was thinking of the young people in my life who seemed to lack purpose and direction.  I believe that some of that deficiency comes from believing that they are here by accident, rather than purposefully created.  I personally struggle with the concept that I or anyone else for that matter just popped out of nothing.  There is too much design in place and too much order to what could have been completely chaotic.

Whatever you believe about where we all came from, I want you to know you are here for a reason and discovering that reason, that purpose is the journey we all go through as we live from day to day.  Each one of us is unique, lets live as such.  Live your best life today!  and remember you are fearfully wonderfully made!
