You walk around life with a shield all around you and not in a good way…
You don’t want ‘them’ to see you…
You have even lost track of who ‘they’ are but you are scared of ‘them’ nonethless…
Scared that ‘they’ will take advantage of you…
Scared that if you show up too loudly and boldly then ‘they’ will want to take more from you than you are willing to give…
And so you walk around trying to feel safe in this shield and strong, high tower of yours…
And yet, do you feel free?
Do you feel good in there?
Or do you feel like life is passing you by, leaving you stuck in a rut caused by your own fear?
Face into the fear of exposure…
Open the curtain
Let the light in!
Keep your eyes on your vision and refuse to let your fear keep you playing the small game…
You do know what to do but you are scared… oh so scared that you will fail in the public arena and that those who hurt you, once upon a time, will laugh at you now.
And so you hide…
Telling yourself that this keeps you safe…
And I suppose you are safe…
Safe from your destiny…
Safe from everything you desire…
Safe to only hear the voice of fear playing the same old track over and over in your head and you do not even know to break free…
Everyone around you, in the exact same condition…
The occasional person breaks free and you all sit in judgement on them…
Thinking that they have in some way, betrayed you
But at the same time, you long to be free…
Wake up, honey!
You can hear the voice of Spirit within calling you out, calling you higher up, telling you that this is not all there is…
And yet, the voice of fear is loud, deceptive, reminding you of what happened the last time you thought you could win…
Reminding you of how tough it was to stay true to the calling in your heart…
And how it did not work last time…
But be honest honey, last time the tension got too high for you…
And you gave into the fear…
But you are stronger, wiser now and you know to keep your eyes on the goal, the vision, right?
Not the fear.
Yes, face the fear of exposure and then deliberately let it go…
Let it go so that you can elevate…
let it go so that you can create the life you desire…
Let it go so that you are FREE!
Free to live life the way you envision in your higher moments.
You long for that freedom lifestyle…
Working when you want, from wherever you want, surrounded by people you enjoy spending time with…
And yes, it feels like a pipe dream and yet, you cannot deny that it calls to you all the time…
It tells you that you could be much more than you are, right now…
So do not stop and give in to the fear…
Break free…
Let go…
And choose to walk steadily towards your destiny, your calling, your inheritance…
