There are some moments in life which you find yourself returning to again and again.  You cannot seem to shift the idea that you have done something so stupid, it will never be forgotten. Each time you think of it, you cringe and wish you had done it differently.  I have a few moments like this, ok, quite a few! 😀

Is there a hard and fast rule about how to get rid of feelings from the past or should we even try to do that?  Have a look at this article where I consider dwelling on the past.  What kind of a person are you?
