For so long, I found other things to do rather than simply answer the call on my life…
I worked hard at school
Worked to keep bringing money in whilst I was at University even though I knew I wanted something different but I thought I HAD TO finish university…
I became a pharmacist…
Had a good wage
Felt empty
So I pushed harder and tried to work my way up the ‘ladder’…
Managed people…
Both loved and hated it…
Decided more money could be made as a self-employed person…
So I became self-employed pharmacist…
Made more money
Still felt empty
All the while, the only time I truly felt on purpose was when I was serving the young women in my church…
Taking them to conferences…
Helping them see that they were more than they had originally thought…
Trying to run a really bad choir at church…
Trying to be seen at church
Trying to do the work I felt called to, at church
But then returning to the ‘real’ world to do the work that I felt I had to do.
I look back and I realise that I simply did not believe in the value of the work I felt called to do…
It did not seem ‘real’
And so I did not live into it, for a long time…
Finally, Papa got my attention as the emptiness in my soul became reflected in my ‘real’ life experience
Bankruptcy
Depression
Continual self-sabotage
And I began to realise that I could not create true prosperity while doing something that was not my true service to the world…
And I say to you too…
You can try, honey…
You can push long and hard, if you want…
But you will always hit your head against a crazy low ceiling as you try to create wealth and prosperity while doing something that you are not called to do.
Others may make money at it but you will struggle
And even if you make some money, it will pass through your fingers like water…
Because in your heart of hearts, you KNOW this is not the path you are supposed to be on.
Is it not time you began to believe in the power of your calling?
Is it not time you stopped questioning that deep desire that has been present in you for as long as you can remember?
Is it not time you REMEMBER WHO YOU REALLY ARE and you begin to live into it?
The Divine whispers within you and calls you back to your true design
Pay attention
The world needs you to be YOU!
Forget what all the regular money-chasing peeps say as they tell you to do only what will make you money
You tried
DID IT WORK?
And even if it worked a little, are you willing to put up with the feeling that your soul is dying forever?
BELIEVE IN YOUR CALLING!
Believe that you can find a way to create wealth while doing it
Believe that if you have a vision for something, then as you make the decision to follow through on it, the resources will be provided.
Believe that you are powerful enough to make your vision work
And get on the Deliberate Life path and stay there until your life is one of freedom, fulfilment and abundance
And YOU BE LOVE IN THE WORLD as you live out the calling on your life.
