Most times, it is easy to ignore rather than master the little things that bring about the huge changes.
Email marketing falls into that category – It is one of those marketing things that business owners miss out because they feel it is hard to do or they feel that they are unable to create an email that anyone out in the world would want to read.
So, instead they do the same as everyone else and become one of the little fish running around scrabbling for business instead of implementing strategies that will cause them to stand out.
Emails have the ability to get your message across easier than giving a 40 second pitch at your local networking event.
Why?
Because you have the time to create more of a relationship with the people in your email list by crafting emails that tell them all about you and your business. You can do this in a drip-feed fashion so little by little you work your way into the minds of your prospects making them consider you the only choice when it comes to buying your products or services.
And why would you not want to make it easy for them?
You have something of value to offer, right?
When I began business coaching, I dabbled a little with sending out emails but mostly, I found it scary to put my thoughts on paper and send it out to people on the list. Inevitably, I would lose some people on the list so I allowed it to mean that what I was saying was rubbish.
However, as I kept learning more and more about business, I realized that the people who left were not my people so why then did I focus all my energies on them instead of building relationships with those who stayed and asked questions and actually seemed to be improving their business and life?
