There is a part of you that knows you are here to live above the mundane issues of every day life but…
There is a part of you that is completely enamoured with them…
Maybe, enamoured is not the right word but you just do not seem to be able to let go of the stuff that keeps you bound up…
And I know what that is like!
How can you focus on higher things when there is some crazy person cutting you off on the road and then having the audacity to swear at you?
When there is an awesome child yelling your name for the twenty millionth time, FOR NO REASON WHATSOEVER?
OR an awesome teenager getting mixed up in all kinds of nonsense when you did your best to raise him/her right?
You long to have an intimate relationship where you can just share your heart and be heard, loved, cared for and you JUST DO NOT HAVE IT?
Or when your boss person is demanding all kinds of things from you in a job you DISLIKE STRONGLY?
Or when your business is not quite working in the way you want it to and creditors are calling you all the time, sending you letters and you just cannot see straight?
How can you elevate in those circumstances?
IT IS TOUGH
And yet, there is a part of you that knows you are born for more…
YOU are born to be connected to Source…
You are capable of living beyond the craziness that your life can sometimes be…
YOU KNOW IT!
And yet, it is hard, so hard to really live it out.
And so you end up doing what you see everyone else doing and you get fully engaged in the lower levels of life except you are not everyone else, honey!!
No, you are not and as much as you are distracted, there is an internal pull calling you higher…
telling you that if you simply keep responding to everything in your life, you will just keep having things to respond to (Or maybe, that is me, right here, TELLING YOU!)
Whichever way, honey, if you are going to create a prosperous life in all areas, guess what?
You are going to have to notice the nonsense but then choose to make decisions beyond the nonsense…
You cannot keep reacting and then hoping that things will change!
NOPE!
That is the path of the passive spiritual person…
The one who begs and pleads with the heavens while doing absolutely NOTHING to change their life
How has that worked for you so far?
Has your higher power come through?
Feeling abandoned, by any chance?
Don’t you see that you are a creator, not a reactor?
You are a thermostat, not a thermometer.
If you want change, you have to keep your eyes focused on the goals and DESPITE all that is happening around you, you gotta rise above.
I can tell you that when I lived as a thermometer, or a passive reactor, nothing got any better.
It just got worse.
I got more things to react to.
And in fact, in the end, I retreated from life and NOT IN A GOOD WAY!
I was depressed and hiding away, refusing to live out my calling – Just existing, waiting to die…
And thankfully, I got to the place where I realised that this was my one life. If I wanted change, then it was on me to CHANGE.
I changed
Life changed
NOPE, life did not get awesome in one second flat
NO, I wish I could say that it did.
It went up and I got my confidence back
And then it went down, MUCH, MUCH LOWER than ever before, except this time, I kept my eyes on the prize…
I kept pushing through in a way that I had not done in my first rock-bottom life…
I was divinely guided
I WON!
And you can too.
I look at my life and though everything is not perfect, I am so thankful for how I get to spend my time – I AM SO BLESSED!
I get to do the things that I had always wanted to do but thought I could not do because the world told me that it was impossible and that I had to be reasonable.
Yes, I had to fight for it!
Yes, I have been through the valley of the shadow of death.
NO, I never want to do that again
Yes, I am thankful that I can now confidently say that the higher level of awareness pays off.
So, honey, will you choose to go higher?
Will you choose to keep your eyes on the goal, the vision, the calling?
Will you do it, regardless of what is happening in your current life?
Will you do it, when it feels like fire is burning you up inside out?
Will you trust that where you are going is far better than where you are?
There is a pain that is long-term and gets you nowhere and there is a short-term pain that burns out the dross and elevates you…
I know it may not sound all that inviting but you long for a life you adore and you can have it.
Get on the narrow path to your destiny and deliberately design a wide open space life of freedom, fulfilment, abundance.
Because you want to
PS – I almost feel like I put you off the higher level life but well, I am nothing if not real. You have been way too attached to the lower level of life. I was too. I got done with it as I realised that my life was not taking me where I wanted to go.
And I only got this one life so I had a choice to make.
