OK, maybe you believe in reincarnation and so you think you have lots of time but you do not know that for a fact so don’t you think it would be wise to make the most of this life while you still can?
I spent years afraid.
I still get afraid a lot of the time.
I just got fed up of allowing the fear to win.
I cared so much what people thought of me…
Now, I simply don’t…
I wanted to belong to my family…
I learnt that blood does not mean a damn thing if people will only love you when you do what they want.
I wanted to write…
Some parent told me that I could not do it because it did not make money and I gave it up…
As though it was ever just about the money…
A part of my soul died…
I wanted to sing…
Some other parent told me that I could not make money with that…
And so I only used it in a voluntary setting and ignored the promptings in my heart to use it in my work…
Another part of my soul died…
I love talking and laughing and reading…
All considered to be useless and you know what, I understand why people might think that. After all, I was brought up in a third world country where frankly, food was hard to come by at times so who had the time to dream?!
So honey, I understand why I was convinced to go for surviving rather than thriving…
I ignored the little voice inside telling me that I could just mix it all up together…
Finally I stopped fighting myself…
Found a way to combine everything that I love to do…
And still provide a useful service to my people…
The 334000 people worldwide, helping them achieve financial independence…
That is my big goal and I sing, write, speak, read, coach, laugh a heckuva lot to achieve it
There is absolutely no reason why you cannot do it too.
Except you are continually giving into fear, just like I used to…
And you cloak your fear with high-sounding phrases like “I have mouths to feed”, “I have to pay off my debts first”…
Continually telling yourself that you have to do things a certain way…
Continually telling yourself that ONE DAY you will do it…
Continually telling yourself that you are not good enough…
Why do we punish ourselves so?
Why don’t we just trust the magic inside of us?
Oh yes, school taught us that…
Parents and older adults taught us that…
Religion told us that as well…
All of these things trained us to stop believing in ourselves…
Trained us to just fit in with the other norms around us…
I have given that up, though…
I have become fearless (that does not mean that I don’t feel afraid, I just do the work despite it!)
So when will you?
When will you just decide what you want and get to work making it happen, regardless of all your fears?
Business can be fun
Business works better when it is fun…
Yes you can make money doing what you love…
Yes, you can live a life where you are not thinking of balance because you love every part of your life…
You can wake up with a spring in your step…
