I woke up this morning about 3.50am and got to talking to Papa before getting up…
And He pointed something out to me…
And it scares me to even talk about it but I will… a little…
He helped me notice that I had been holding back from my hubby…
I was not being as open with him as I could be…
I was trying to protect a part of myself with laughs and giggles but not really opening up…
Not wanting to be completely vulnerable…
Not completely sure that I wanted him to see all of me…
I noticed the old fears of men using and abusing me… ( not that that even slightly happens with me and Tloml but the past can hang around)
I noticed the deep dark thought that I am somehow ‘less than’ and incapable of doing much more than being the little female…
It felt like a hidden place deep in my heart that I kept safe and protected from ever being seen…
But Papa wanted me to see it…
So, I did because I choose to be deliberate about the design of my life…
And I journaled around it…
Wrote out some thoughts…
Chose new beliefs…
Prayed…
Cried a little as a broken little part of my heart got sewn back together…
Healed…
And the next step is to take action to be seen even more…
And it got me thinking about you…
And the hidden places in your soul…
The places you pretend do not exist
The places you may be scared to face…
And I wonder whether you realise just how much they control you…
Keeping you from the relationships you desire
Or the money you desire
Or the health that you desire
Keeping you trapped in situations you do not like but you think you have no choice…
I feel you in this community, listening, lurking but never wanting to put your hands up and seek assistance to move forward…
Because the walls are high and thick around you.
