I see 2 things when spirit-driven entrepreneurs are getting their business off the ground and trying to figure out who they serve
- They make it really complicated to figure out who their ideal person is and so then they never quite get started marketing anything because they think they need more clarity
- They speak to the person they think they can have, rather than the person they want! And so, they keep attracting the same people that they do not like but the entrepreneur is more and more convinced that these are the only potential customers, clients, recruits on the planet.
Do you do any of these?
Well, let’s change that.
1.Whip out your journal & Connect to Source
2. Picture how your business will look when everything is going the way you want it to
3. Feel the feelings of working with those ideal people
4. And write down who you are picturing – You want to pay attention to how they think as well. What are their burning issues? What results do they want? What pain do they no longer want?
5. As you start to do this, you will probably have crazy thoughts in your head of how that person does not exist and you have to settle for something else. Write down THAT list too of the qualities you are no longer willing to settle for in business.
It does help to be very clear about what you will not put up with anymore.
And so you get 2 lists
What you want and what you DO NOT WANT!
Sometimes, it is even easier to figure out what we do not want, rather than what we do. That is an unfortunate consequence of our conditioning – We look for and tend to find the worst all the time.
However, in this case, it can be of benefit to you because you can decide what you no longer want and turn it around into the types of customers, clients recruits you do want.
So, go on, get it done.
And then feel yourself to be at one with this type of person and speak ONLY TO THIS PERSON in your marketing and selling because honey, they already exist in your world – You just did not see them because your focus was on the wrong thing!
